New identity part of global growth strategy of glamping specialist
Emmeloord, July 1st, 2020 – LuxeTenten, the European market leader in the design and production of safari tents and glamping lodges, has changed its name to YALA | luxury canvas lodges. The new identity and proactive brand strategy fit in with their aspiration to become a prominent global player.
“Glamping is a growing trend. With an annual growth of 20 to 30 percent, this market has enormous potential,” said Ivo van der Vlis, General Manager of the globally active company. “We also notice that consumers quite often prefer luxury safari tents to a hotel stay, as a result of the corona pandemic. This increases the demand for large glamping projects.” Van der Vlis states: “We achieved a growth of 40% in the past year.”
On July 1st, the company changed its name from LuxeTenten to YALA, due to the rapid international growth. “A name that everyone, worldwide can pronounce and that fits our product range, which ranges from sturdy safari tents to exclusive, 5-star level glamping lodges. We are planning to introduce a new range of products before September 1st, to complement our existing range of safari tents.” Van der Vlis continues: “We are convinced that with our new identity and new product range, we can fully exploit the international growth potential. We have rock-solid confidence in the journey.”
