The new and robust Comet fits every campground pitch
Emmeloord, 8 September 2020 – YALA luxury canvas lodges introduces a new safari tent that fits the demand of many campsites and holiday resorts that are looking for a way to repurpose their existing small campground pitches.
”With the Comet, we created a glamping lodge with an incredibly efficient layout. With a small footprint, guests can still be assured of having all the comfort they need,” says Ivo van der Vlis, CEO and co-owner of YALA luxury canvas lodges. The Comet is only 30 m2 but it still comes with a kitchen, dining area, two bedrooms and a spacious veranda, making this tent suitable for both couples and families.
Bill Kluwen, Product Manager at YALA, explains, “We only choose quality; this new model proves that. The Comet is offered with standard fire-retardant canvas, unique in our market. Tests have proven that the Comet can withstand a wind force of 10 Beaufort. This is a must nowadays, with the increase in extreme weather events. The Comet also comes with an updated look and feel. We added vertical windows on the front and side of the tent, to increase the flow of natural light. The mesh window also allows for optimal ventilation.”
Glamping has been a huge trend over the past few years and it continues to grow. Van der Vlis says, “Our customers have had a tough year but after the lockdowns, demand started to rise again. Many guests are seeking peace and quiet during their holidays. Accommodation combining comfort with beautiful surroundings is what guests are looking for and YALA offers just that. Our luxurious safari tents suit the needs of different people. The Comet is our entry-model that we offer at a competitive price, without sacrificing any of the comforts that holidaymakers are looking for.”
